Description
A thinner version of #2 Macaroni and a sister pasta to bucatini, #3 Macaroni are long thick strands of pasta with a hole in the middle. Misko #3 Macaroni is traditionally used to make “Macaroni me Kima.” It contains a “Greek Bolognese” sauce with a chili-like consistency that is spooned over the noodles. Each family has their own version of this classic dish, made a tomato and ground meat sauce, seasoned with cinnamon, allspice and cloves – and topped with Mizithra, Kefalotyri or Parmesan cheese.
