Tsoureki (Sweet Breads)

Greek Holiday bread that is made mostly during Easter, made every year on Holy Thursday and eaten on Easter Sunday. It is a traditional sweet yeast bread made with milk, butter and eggs, some bakers decorate their tsourekia with nuts, sugar, sesame seeds and shape their breads with braids and knots. We like to make our tsourekia all year around and offer different varieties with chocolate, hazelnuts and sliced almonds. Even eaten plain, this sweet bread is light and delightful to pair with some butter at breakfast or with your coffee during dessert.
